Political cartoons and the artists who create them have always been there to help us look at what’s happening in politics from a different perspective. They allow us to see how unserious our politicians can be. How silly the things they say and do really are if we just take a step back and look at the big picture.
We tend to forget about the things that are most important to us in the end when we let our emotions overwhelm us.
The news can be stressful—especially with the images that have been coming out of Gaza. If you’re anything like me, Netanyahu and people like him break your heart for humanity and what the world could be without evil people like him in it.
It’s always a good idea to take mental health breaks from the news. Before the thought of corruption and money in politics drives us insane, we need to laugh.
Before we cry.
Some of the best political cartoons On Pinterest this week.
There they are. I was going to write the captions myself, but I don’t want to take anything away from the artists who drew the cartoons.
I’ll tell you what I wanted to say for the “Your clothes don’t match” cartoon: Your values don’t match.
Hold the applause. 😂
I hope you were able to take some of these topics a little more lightly and maybe snicker a bit.
Don’t forget to continue taking breaks from the news and politics and go out to dinner, see a movie, or do anything that brings you joy. You deserve to be happy. Lucky for us Harris and Walz are now the Democratic ticket and they’re spreading joy around the country by drawing crowds 10 times bigger than Trump. 😉
I tell the readers to take breaks from politics as projection. I’m reading and watching the news from the time I wake up until I close my eyes at night (usually every other night). I’m too busy trying to get the best and most important content up on the website to do much of anything else.
The rare times I leave the house for a doctor appointment or to help a friend, Im listening to Conservative radio to keep up with the n narrative Conservatives are pushing.
If its late in the evening and Mark Levin is on, I usually end up turning it off after swearing and yelling in the car by myself. That guy makes me angrier than any other pundit. He’s just plain evil.
Okay. This is a post, not my diary.
