One of my favorite, and in my opinion, best media organization from the region, +972 Magazine and partners have announced a new investigative piece.
From the email announcement:
“+972 Magazine is proud to be partaking in the Gaza Project — a collaborative investigation into the targeting of Palestinian journalists during Israel’s current bombardment of Gaza, whose findings will be published this week.
Over four months, in partnership with 50 journalists from 13 media organizations around the world, we analyzed the more than 100 deaths of media workers in Gaza, as well as other cases in which members of the press have been threatened or wounded since October 7, including in the occupied West Bank.
We focused on patterns of targeting, including drone strikes and attacks against press infrastructure in Gaza. The Gaza Project is taking place under the auspices of Forbidden Stories, which pursues the work of journalists who have been murdered to ensure that as many people as possible have access to investigations that were meant to be silenced. +972 is proud to be working alongside them and the other partners of the project: The Guardian, Paper Trail Media, Le Monde, AFP, Radio France, Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ), Local Call, Der Spiegel, Der Standard, ZDF, and Tamedia-Group.
