Voting: How to vote on posts
Available to members and guests
Every post, regardless of whether it’s a news article or a meme, will give users the option to vote it up or down. “Trending” and “hottest” posts are determined based on the number of votes they’ve received.
Users can vote on a post after reading the article or watching the video by scrolling down past the author box. You’ll find comments, voting options, and the opportunity to react to the post by choosing the reaction emoji that best describes how you feel about the content. (????, etc.)
Users can also vote on posts directly on the homepage using the thumbs up or thumbs down voting icons located below the featured image in the NewsStream. The image below shows the up and down “^” symbols, but this site is using the “thumbs” voting icons (??)
