Who the hell is Pro Life Spiderman?!
I listen to Conservative Talk Radio so that you, dear readers, never have to experience something that could cause debilitating PTSD for life. I hear a lot of ads for products that are obviously taking advantage of the listeners. I just don’t think they realize it.
“Patriot Product” Companies
Everything from cell phone service, “Patriot Mobile,” to products playing off of Donald Trump’s “The Country Will End” fear-mongering, “My Patriot Food Supply”: Emergency food and storage kits. Make sure you buy a kit for everyone in your family so they are protected from the food shortage Dems are going to bring about.
No matter what the product is, the through line is the same—”we aren’t woke like those other companies.” Also note the use of the term “Patriot” found in the name of these companies. “Patriot” has become a code word for Conservative or Republican, so I was overjoyed to see the DNC “taking back” ownership of words like patriot, freedom, and the image of our American flag.
I don’t know about you, but I see a “patriot” being a person who is proud of their country, and who loves American ideals. I don’t consider people who attack our nation’s Capitol building—or who try to destroy American democracy—to be “patriots” at all. These people trash America and praise Russia! Yeah, you, F***er Tarlson.
In fact, the definition of patriot is: a person who vigorously supports their country and is prepared to defend it against enemies or detractors. “A true patriot.”
Back to the subject of this post. These companies use the word “Patriot” and terms and phrases like: “freedom,” “free speech,” and “anti-woke” simply to rip off listeners of Conservative radio. Dan Bongino is constantly promoting Patriot Food Supply on his show. There’s also the company where you can invest in gold or the anti-abortion charity organization he pushes for donations on behalf of (Ben Shapiro as well). Bongino falsely claims that a fetal heartbeat can be heard at 5 weeks (the fetal heart is fully developed as early as 10 weeks, with most medical sources citing the 12th week as the first real heartbeat).
The New Company Marketing To Conservatives: Freedom20 Water
Now we have another product in the anti-woke, freedom, and free-speech categories: Freedom20, the “unapologetic” water. I interpret anti-woke to mean anti: equality, equity, inclusion, LGBTQ+, democracy, freedom to choose, etc. What else would they mean by unapologetically anti-woke? And how TF can water be woke?
I’m not going to say anything more about this silliness. I’ll just provide you with the graphics from the company website that will tell you all you need to know about Freedom20 Water.
