These are old videos but the “it’s a cult” woman made me feel a little better after Tuesday. I might’ve just missed the story the first time around, but for me, it’s the first time I’ve heard someone from the inside admit that it’s a cult.
First: A MAGA Karen neighbor yells through a ring doorbell over a Biden/Harris sign in a woman’s yard. I saw evil in her eyes at one point! You’ll see what I mean!
Then: An older lady talks about why she could no longer support Trump after his visit with Putin.
Finally: A grandmother who participated in the January 6th attack on Capitol calls Trump a manipulator and gaslighter. She says “it’s a cult” that she was brainwashed into.
The ugly side of Trump supporters is shown in the first story, followed by stories of two women that give us a little hope that it’s possible for people to see the light.
The fact that someone who participated in January 6th can turn around and admit she was brainwashed and that it is a cult, gives me just a little bit of hope that one day our fellow Americans will come back to reality.
I’m not including his supporters who are hateful, misogynistic, and racist. Those people will never be welcomed back into my reality.
Some people will say, yes, but if someone supports someone like that, they can’t be a decent person.
I get that. I said the same thing yesterday! I guess I am just an optimist and I want to believe that some people are just lost. I try to put myself in other people’s shoes, but this is the first time that its really difficult for me to do it. I just can’t understand how anyone could vote for such an evil man. No matter how bad they think the economy is!
