The perfect couple—in an amazing, loving marriage (according to Fox News)—announced in July that they each have books set to hit the shelves this fall. Their books differ in cover design and price. Even their July announcements differed. Melania talked about her book on her website and in a brief announcement post on X, while Trump went with a longer post on Truth Social where he once again made a disparaging remark about our great country.
Melania’s book Melania
Melania Trump’s book sports a minimalist design with two editions; a black cover and just her name, “MELANIA” in white, or a special edition white cover with her name in black, which mimics another book according to The Daily Beast. Melania fans have the option to purchase a special collector’s edition for $150 that includes her signature, “bonus photos” and a digital collectible” (An NFT trading card, perhaps?). A regular copy of her book is $40–much cheaper than her husband’s book. Then again, a grifter’s gonna grift, right?
If $150 is too much, you can spend $75 to get a copy of the regular edition of her book, signed. The regular copy sports a black cover with her name in white. Without the bonus signature, the book costs around $40 and it is currently selling like crazy on Amazon weeks before its release.
Donald Trump’s Save America book
Melania’s other half also has a book coming out on September 3rd, but it’ll cost you a pretty penny. A pre-order of his book is $99, with a special signed copy priced at $499. Donald Trump’s July 25th announcement on Truth Social struck a different tone than Melania’s simple post on X.
“I’m pleased to announce my new Book, “SAVE AMERICA.” As everyone knows, the first two, “Our Journey Together” and, “Letters to Trump,” have been spectacular successes, and this is the BEST OF ALL, especially in light of the fact that we are now living in a Failing Nation, but it will not be failing for long. We will soon, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
The Save America cover features a photo of himself (his favorite subject) with a fist in the air taken after the assassination attempt (and ear boo-boo).
It’ll be unsurprising to see that both books are on the New York Times Bestsellers list after right-wing PACs buy up all the copies—a common tactic used each time a Conservative publishes a book. John Iadarola, host of The Damage Report, did a deep dive into the phenomenon last year. Interesting ploy, but also dumb as hell. Spending millions on books just to get on the list? Goes to show what really matters most to these people.
Do you plan to read either one of these books? When you do, tell us all about it in the comments! Curious minds want to know, but aren’t willing to give the Trumps a dime to find out.
