Israel launched a strike on the Iranian consulate in Syria killing two Generals and 5 officers. While people ponder the reason for the attack, I’ll share my opinion: Netanyahu is trying to broaden the war to include Iran after tens of thousands of Israeli citizens were protesting in the streets to oust Netanyahu as Prime Minister. He realizes the war in Gaza can’t last much longer when they’ve already destroyed most of the residential houses in Northern Gaza, as well as refugee shelters, roads, sewage system, electrical grid, and hospitals. 80% of the population is now displaced with no home to return to.
He has always wanted to take on Iran and he knows the U.S. Military will come to the aid of Israel if Iran were to attack Israel in defense of a war that Netanyahu started.
