You know those people who call the other side “snowflakes”? The “facts don’t care about your feelings” crowd? The ones who make disgusting racist comments, denigrate others, and constantly spread lies and misinformation that has real world consequences?
Well, one of those people just learned that words can hurt your feelings. And she isn’t happy about it.
Laura Loomer is pissed because Bill Maher made a joke—where he shared his opinion (we can still have those right?)—about Loomer. So hurt, in fact, that she is suing him for defamation. He expressed his own, personal opinion. He did not say something definitive that isn’t true (even though you and Trump make false statements and pass them off as fact.
