Donald Trump Imagines Crowd. Again.

Recently, Donald Trump made a comment during a Fox News appearance that at the debate the “audience went crazy for him.”

The question is—Is he delusional or just lying? Trump has been shown waving at imaginary crowds many times What we can’t say for certain is if he is doing it on purpose. Does he wave knowing the video editors will only show him from the front with audio of cheering? Or is Donald Trump actually seeing a crowd as his delusional mind creates a hallucination of people there?

Donald Trump waves at imaginary crowds

I don’t believe this is about mental illness, but about dementia and his personality disorders colliding to create an illusion that helps Trump’s fragile ego accept reality. Malignant Narcissism is a very real personality disorder that many psychiatrists have said he shows signs of. A Malignant Narcissist is so deeply scared of being rejected or abandoned that they will manipulate people to prevent that from happening. Kind of explains The Big Lie, doesn’t it?

If crowds of fans always gathered outside Trump Tower in hopes of catching a glimpse of The Apprentice star, perhaps the fact that they are no longer there is too painful for him to accept, or admit, so he waves in order to make people think his fans are still there.

He’s still, to this day, bragging about passing a dementia test. Did he? Even if he had failed, his incorrect belief that the test is more akin to an IQ test, means he would never publicly admit to not performing at 120% on the test.

As someone who has known him for decades recently said, Trump has always been “crazy,” but he was also sharp. Now he’s just crazy. People are leaving his rallies early because he no longer has that showmanship and entertainer quality about him where he makes people enjoy themselves. His rallies have become an old man listing the things that aren’t fair to him, airing his grievances and rambling incoherently about nonsense.

Donald Trump was able to win in the past because he talked about policies on the economy and immigration. He told the American people what he was going to do to “make their lives better.” Now he only talks about himself sharks, and Hannibal Lector. The only reason he mentions the cannibal is so he can say his line, “He’d like to have you for dinner.”

Donald Trump Imagining Crowds: Delusional?

Nothing against Donald Trump for the changes that come naturally with age. That happens to everyone and it’s what we find endearing about our grandparents. The difference is that this “grandpa” is running to be the leader of the free world, with access to classified information and the nuclear codes. (I won’t even get into how stealing classified documents the first time should be disqualifying.) If a world leader says something mean about him, will he bomb their country? As President in the past he withheld funding from “blue states.” That’s not the kind of leader our country deserves.

Crazy or just old, Donald Trump’s comment about a non-existent crowd going crazy for him is concerning.

Maybe he doesn’t know that there are images and video out there of no audience? Even then, the arrangements for the debate explicitly mentioned there would be no audience.
