House GOP Budget: Trillions for the Rich, Cut All Programs That Help Regular Americans

The House GOP budget is nightmare fuel. The richest among us will add money to sustain them for 5 lifetimes instead of only 4.

We knew Republicans were going to do this, but that doesn’t make it any less painful. If only more voters had listened to the warning that the populist rhetoric was just that. Rhetoric. The House GOP budget allocates over 4 trillion in tax cuts for corporations and the richest among us—paid for by cutting funding for Medicare, Medicaid, and SNAP benefits for people who need it.

People with so many zeros in their bank accounts that they couldn’t spend it over several lifetimes if they tried will add a few more zeros to the balance as tens of thousands lose access to health care and the ability to buy food for their families. That’s what the House GOP budget plans to do.

If that’s not the dystopian plot of a futuristic novel about the end of civilization, I don’t know what is. Everyone should be shouting this from the rooftops because there’s a very high chance that conservative media will be working overtime to distract viewers from this horror show of a budget proposal.

Statement on the House GOP Budget

The billionaires have infiltrated the government and the robbery of the american people has begun.

Alex Jaquez, Chief of Policy and Advocacy for Groundwork Collaborative put out a statement.

“Instead of tackling rising prices and delivering relief for American families, House Republicans are charging ahead with trillions of dollars in deeply unpopular tax breaks for billionaires like Donald Trump and Elon Musk. And, they’re paying for their billionaire handouts by ransacking health care, food assistance, and other vital programs that American workers and families rely on.”

The revolution is coming.
