Vice presidential candidate Sen. JD Vance tried to make a joke about racism and Diet Mountain Dew during a rally at his hometown in Middletown, Ohio, but it didn’t go so well.

Zany: I think we can all agree that Republicans have never been good at humor. Imagine Mitch McConnell cracking a joke, or Charlie Kirk on stage: “So a Black pilot walks onto a plane…” ? Sometimes Trump is funny, but it’s not because he tries, but because he just isn’t smart.
