Trae Crowder is one of my favorite people. He’s funny, intelligent, and knows all about that relatable country life (and the accent!). So obviously I was happy to see him calling out Republicans after the House GOP budget bill was passed. When that happened I said to my cat, “Who TF do these people think they are, robbing from the poor to give to the rich?!
Republicans expect us to accept that we don’t have money for universal healthcare or the other things we need, so you’re going to take away the very little we DO have instead of—I don’t know—TAXING THE RICH?!
Giving them $1 trillion LESS, maybe?!
I don’t think they have any idea just how bad the wrath of the working-class is going be if they actually go through with cutting stuff we need so that we don’t die. (that’s why they do culture war stuff, btw. They know if we were all united they’d be screwed)
Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security are called the third rail of politics for a reason. YOU TOUCH, YOU GET HURT (politically)!
