Billionaire cabinet members have been on the weekend news shows attempting to explain why the President is crashing the stock market and destroying the economy. They don’t believe the lies about Trump tariffs, but they also can’t publicly contradict or question the President.
Meanwhile, other billionaires are voicing their opinions. Bill Ackman was an ardent Trump supporter ahead of the 2024 election, posting on social media how excited CEOs were for the pro-business President to take office and pass deregulations that will spur business growth.
Now Bill Ackman and other billionaire financiers are blasting Trump tariffs and the damage being done to the economy, the global standing of the US, and their wealth.
The Press Secretary has to lie to the American people about what Trump tariffs will do to consumer prices and their pocketbooks. Reporters aren’t letting her get away with it so easily.
