Recent polling from Gallup, Ipsos, and others, show sinking numbers for Trump. The number of Americans who approve of the actions Trump has taken after inauguration have gone down compared to where they were just a few weeks ago.
Before I share the video from The Watchlist discussing the polls, let’s look at some of the results. Feel free to share these results with anyone you know is in denial about whats been going on. There are still people who say that Trump has a mandate because of an “overwhelming victory,” though he didn’t even get half of the vote. He actually won with the smallest margin ever.

As you can see, President Trump’s approval ratings are going down, but it will be interesting to see what happens when Elon Musk—acting as his shield and taking the sinking approval numbers instead of Trump—starts to break down.
Eventually people will begin to realize that what DOGE is doing has less to with waste and abuse and more to do with serving Musk’s own interests, breaking things, and finding money to use as an excuse when they pass $5 trillion tax cuts for the rich. They can say, “We already cut all that money from the budge, so these tax cuts are covered.”
