There's a reason why we always say that the Republican Party convinces their base to vote against their own economic and material interests, and some Trump supporters are grappling with that reality right now.
Republican voters always seem to vote against their own best interests. As Trump voters grapple with consequences of their decision, I can’t help but hope this could cause them to consider which candidate will actually do things to improve their lives before they cast their ballot in the future.
