Unveiling Trump’s Agenda 2025: Serving the Elite?

It isn't difficult to figure out what Republicans are going to do in 2025. Same as always—corruption and tax cuts for the rich.

What’s going to happen after January 20, 2025? We have some idea of what Republicans are going to do in 2025. Donald Trump told us on the campaign trail, and if you haven’t read Project 2025 yet, you should get on that. They’ve already begun doing exactly what the manual instructed the next Republican administration to do.

Recent news about plans to get rid of the group in charge of laws and consumer protections in big banks is straight out of the 900+ page document. By the way, what’s more Populist and “pro-worker” than taking away the laws in place to protect people from being ripped off by the bank execs? 🫤More on this later.

It was indeed shocking to see a Republican candidate not just win the Electoral College, but win the popular vote in the 2024 election.

What happened?

Since Donald Trump became President-Elect, news hosts, political analysts, Democratic consultants, and people who voted for Kamala Harris have been scratching their heads.

Plenty of ideas have been floated as to the cause of the Democrats’ loss. From voters being racist or misogynist, to the rise of “bro culture.” The so-called “experts” are blind to the real reason for Harris’ loss.

Representative Alexandria O’Casio Cortez was the only politician smart enough to go directly to the source—the voters. She asked her voters what made them vote for Donald Trump for President AND a Progressive like AOC on the same ballot.

The response was a combination of people misunderstanding Trump’s stance on abortion or how tariffs will affect consumers, along with the majority who responded: You both care about the working class.

Before you go hoarse screaming at the screen, I KNOW Trump doesn’t actually care about the working class. He has just always been successful at fooling people by pretending like he cares. It doesn’t matter if he planned on doing any of the things he promised, he was smart enough to tap into the frustration voters felt with the Democratic Party, while promoting economic populist policies.

Populism is popular

Bernie didn’t lose the Primary when he was running for president because his policy proposals weren’t popular. He lost because the establishment did what they always do when a Progressive is running. Fund the opponent in the Democratic primary and smear the Progressive candidate by spreading lies and getting voters to fear the policies that will make their lives better by calling them Socialism or talking about how much it will cost, taxes will rise, etc.

The corporate wing of the Democratic Party doesn’t want Progressives in Congress who will propose legislation that would take away their ability to get rich in their positions or expose the corruption that’s taking place. God forbid someone might try to get money out of politics.

This brings me to the purpose of this post. Half of the country voted for Donald Trump and the main reason cited in exit polls was the economy. I remember thinking right after the election that ‘people are going to wish the only thing they had to worry about was the price of eggs.’

Billionaires run the world

Donald Trump has assembled the wealthiest cabinet in history. He has appointed 13 billionaires with a total net worth of just under $6 billion. A lot of them aren’t even close to being qualified for their positions, either.

It’s not as if he wasn’t telling the world what his plans were the entire time leading up to the election. He spent much of his campaign making promises to the rich. Trump wasn’t secretive about asking billionaires and fossil fuel execs for cash in exchange for tax cuts and deregulation.

Elon Musk, who some are now calling the “co-president,” has all but taken over everything from his DOGE group seeking to cut wasteful spending in our government to meeting with foreign officials and making policy recommendations.

Musk was the one who admitted that the tariffs coupled with his work cutting government spending meant that Americans were going to experience “hard times,” but that it would lead to a prosperous future.

Now we have Donald Trump starting a trade war with Mexico, but the new female President isn’t sitting back and taking Trump’s rhetoric.

After Trump posted his tariff plans on Truth Social, she was quick to clap back, promising an in-kind response and reminding him that Americans’ “guac” was on the line with the U.S. importing 90% of its avocados from Mexico. They’ve been our number-one trading partner and this is how we‘re going to treat them? She‘s definitely not having it.

Trump Might Not lower grocery prices

Donald Trump spent a lot of time talking about the high prices of groceries—particularly the price of bacon and how some people aren’t eating it anymore because it’s so expensive—and he blamed it all on President Joe Biden for not doing anything about. As Kamala Harris talked about curbing price gouging by corporations (the cause of high prices), Trump promised he would lower the cost of everything when he got into office.

Now that he’s about to be back in the White House next month, he is no longer confident in his abilities. During a recent interview with TIME, Trump admitted that lowering grocery prices is a lot harder than he thought and he might not be able to do it.

Translation: “My corporate buddies didn’t want Kamala Harris to win because they like all the extra profits from keeping consumer prices high even after their costs went down. They gave me a lot of money and helped me win the election so they could continue ripping off the working class. So I won’t be doing a damn thing to help you.”

But.. the price of eggs…

Billionaires in charge of government spending?

The minute Elon Musk gave a quarter billion dollars to help Trump in the election, most people realized that the 1% were coming out to join the “rich person party” and get in on the action of ripping off the government and the American people.

In his first administration, Trump and his family hogged all of the opportunities for corruption along with the money they made ripping off the government, (which is technically ripping off the American people). It was our tax dollars that were used to pay Trump Hotel in D.C. 3 times the normal rate for hotel rooms when secret service stayed there. Trump also had foreign leaders visiting the White House stay at his hotel. Investigations showed he took illegal payments from foreign countries using that scheme.

When Secret Service agents protected Ivanka and Jared’s home during the first Trump presidency, they had to book a hotel room just to use the restroom because they weren’t allowed to use any of the 6 bathrooms inside their home. They also used Obama’s bathroom and Vice President Mike Pence’s bathroom at times. MAGA: If the Trump family looks down on hardworking people who are protecting their lives so much that they won’t even allow them to use a guest bathroom, do you really believe they see you guys as equals?

What are Republicans going to do in 2025?

The first item on the agenda doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone since it’s in Project 2025. Every detailed plan spelling out what Republicans are going to do in 2025 is clearly spelled out in the pages of that playbook.

Revenge and Retribution

By appointing loyalists Kash Patel as director of the FBI and Pam Bondi as head of the DOJ, Trump can say (paraphrasing), ‘I’m not going to order them to do anything. They can do whatever they want’ all he wants, but by nominating such ass-kissing sycophants to these positions, he knows that they already know what he wants. He doesn’t have to get involved or say a word.

It’s like the stochastic terrorism he has always engaged in, He just has to talk about someone he doesn’t like or who has wronged him in some way, and like clockwork, the death threats, harassment, doxxing, and swatting begins. Trump has created his own little army of soldiers to serve him (and sell stuff to).

Tax cuts for the rich

Trump stood on stage at Mar-a-Lago and told a room full of fossil fuel executives that if they give him a billion dollars he’ll get rid of annoying regulations—like the ones protecting us from pollution in our air and in our water. Not to mention the laws protecting our planet! He told those same billionaires that giving him that money is a smart investment—because the tax cuts will save them billions.

Getting rid of the CFPB

Another goal of this new “billionaire administration” is to get rid of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the government agency that protects us from big banks. It makes sure we are treated fairly and not taken advantage of with exorbitant fees, etc. They’ve even talked about getting rid of the FDIC, the insurance covering our money, so that even if a bank fails, we don’t lose our money.

Don’t panic. I don’t believe they would dare do something that crazy. Could you imagine what would happen if they got rid of it? People would panic and rush to get their money out of every bank, collapsing the banking system. If there’s one thing we can count on Trump for, it’s his narcissism. When the truth about COVID first came out, the economy started going south and Trump rushed home from India to say it wasn’t true, it was all a lie, in order to protect his economy and legacy. Its hard to imagine him doing something that would instantly crash it.

Awake

The purpose of this post was to try and prove to the people who voted for Republicans that their fake populist act was just that—fake. Hopefully, it’s becoming more clear that Donald Trump and the swamp he is bringing into the White House with him are there for one reason and one reason only: to enrich themselves and cater to the rest of the elite class.

Perhaps if there’s one lesson we can all learn from this it would be that a billionaire who has grown up and lived an entire lifetime in the billionaire class is not going to understand, empathize, or even associate with people of the working class. Especially if they’ve made their money by conning and taking advantage of those people.
