I was looking for a file today in my college Google Drive account when I came across an old assignment I had forgotten existed. I can’t help but to pretend like I really was in the Biden admin and share it with you, the American people.
I completed the assignment for a drug policy class I took while earning my agree in addiction recovery when I was going to become a substance abuse counselor. The assignment was to imagine that I had been given a position in the Biden administration as part of the DEA. It was my job to provide President Biden with the information he needed to create a policy to combat the fentanyl crisis and the issue of Mexican drug cartels at the border.
The second part of the assignment was to give him my recommendations for an effective policy after he had all of the information I felt he needed in order to make an informed policy decision.
Being the dramatic overachiever that I am, I included a letter to the President along with my report. I hope someone out there will take the time to read it. I honestly put a lot of time and effort into this assignment, pretending like I was actually part of the White House staff, because 👆🤓DORK🤓👆.
I just hate that I put in all of that effort and the only person that ever saw it was my professor. If I would’ve thought more about it 2 years ago, I might have actually mailed it to the White House just for shits and giggles. Minus the pretend letter, of course.😂
Without further delay, I present to you a policy proposal for dealing with the Mexican drug cartels and the fentanyl crisis in America. (I watermarked it so no one could send it to President Trump as their own work. 🤭)
