As people on the left warned of racial profiling and innocent people getting caught up in deportations, we were constantly reminded how only the violent convicted criminals would be targeted.
If ICE is going after convicted criminals, they must already know the names, whereabouts, and descriptions of these folks, correct? How are innocent people, including American citizens, being mistakenly identified as violent criminals? It’s not because agents are just rounding up anyone with brown skin, right? Maybe they think it’s easier to round people up first and then find out who they are?
That kind of destroys the argument of “targeted” raids, no?
