Jon Stewart breaks Musk’s brain with 1 simple question

Jon Stewart got sick of hearing Republicans talk about “efficiency” when they’re unwilling to touch the only agency unable to pass an audit.

Jon Stewart is sick and tired of Republicans talking about cutting services and federal agencies under the guise of “efficiency”, when they’re not taking a look at the one huge department that can’t pass an audit.

As I said in a recent post, “fraud, waste, and abuse” simply means anything that benefits the poors but not the billionaires. If you look at everything they’ve cut so far, it consists of programs, funding, and agencies that benefit the poor and most vulnerable among us.

The upcoming cuts to Medicaid and Social Security are two programs that don’t mean a damn thing to the top 1%. They don’t need assistance with health insurance and they certainly won’t have a need for Social Security benefits. They intentionally avoid paying Medicare taxes because they’ll never need it. If it doesn’t benefit the billionaires, they see the money spent as “waste.”

The second meaning of “waste, fraud, and abuse” is “money to show the peasants so they don’t freak out as much when we give ourselves $4.5 trillion in tax cuts.” They feel like they have to put up some of that money to lessen the blow when Americans are told trillions of their tax dollars (not the billionaire’s because they don’t pay taxes) are given to the people that need it the LEAST.

Jon Stewart has a question for the head (no matter what DOJ lawyers say in court) of the Department of Government Efficiency. The Damage Report’s John Iadarola breaks it down.

The Damage Report With John Iadarola, Your daily breakdown of the true threats and challenges facing our country and our world. An unflinching, no holds barred accounting of the damage done by the Trump administration, and the day by day battle to hold them accountable.
