Before joining The Conversation in 2014, Bryan spent the previous decade writing and editing on business, finance and economics topics, most recently as the editor of a business magazine based in Beirut. Before that, he covered corporate finance for Bloomberg News in London and New York. He earned his master's from New York University's Business and Economic Reporting program in 2007 and studied journalism and philosophy at the University of Minnesota
