Republican Representative Nancy Mace, who began her career as a “normal” person when she first arrived on Capitol Hill, posted an “attack” video of herself on her own Instagram account.
The video is what you’d typically see from the opposition party of the targeted politician “caught behaving badly in public.” Now it seems the Republican voters want their politicians to act like complete a**holes in public.
Why? It’s difficult to say for sure, but it appears that the trashier your behavior, the more popular you are with MAGA.
Racism and Bigotry
If you are acting like a racist or bigot to someone who’s part of a minority group, MAGA will love it even more. Nancy Mace started out as someone I had a little respect for during the first Trump administration.
When she began her political career, she was a decent, common-sense person speaking reason to Trump’s “crazy.”
She has evolved into the embodiment of the absolute worst parts of the MAGA movement. She’s rude, racist, and anti-LGBTQ, yet posts “He is Risen” images on X Easter Sunday. It’s the same way President Trump pretends to be a Christian while being a serial adulterer, racist, anti-LGBTQ conman who is a pathological liar.
Nancy Mace Attacks Her Own Constituent
It was surprising to see Nancy Mace post a video of herself attacking a constituent as if she’s proud of it. She is. She knows the base will love to see her attacking a gay man. The burst in donations won’t hurt either.
The most alarming part of this was what she posted on X after the video went viral. Talking about being “attacked” or “harassed” by a man and how “dangerous” it could be after she verbally assaulted a man who stood at the other end of the store aisle throughout the entire conversation.
He didn’t swear at her. He wasn’t even mean to her until after she had verbally assaulted him and said “f**k you” several times.
The man is a saint for remaining calm and composed throughout her verbal assault. All he did was ask Representative Nancy Mace, the person who is his public servant when her next town hall would be.
She repeated several times that she held town halls last year that he could’ve come to. He didn’t ask if she’d ever held a town hall before, he wanted to know when the next one was going to be held.
At one point in the video she says that he “got in her face” about town halls. Again, he stood so far away from her. Here’s the video as she posted it on her Instagram account.
Note how she orders him to get away from her. After he walks away, she continues taunting and shouts, “What’s your name?” When he comes back to answer her question, she tells him to get away from her again, only to throw in a few more nasty comments before ending the video.
I don’t know about you, but if I walk away during an argument and hear the person continuing to talk ish, I feel like I have to go back and respond to what was said. Nancy Mace knows that’s typical human behavior, so she does that on purpose in order to lure him back in and get more footage for her “fans.”
You cannot say you’re a Christian, then take pride in sharing a video of your hatred. Period.
