Elon Musk pulls a desperate stunt, going on Fox News to make the bold claim that he and his company have never done anything harmful, as Tesla investors panic.
We have seen a surge in backlash and protests against the company. Now Tesla investors panic as they realize that maybe their CEO should come in to work now and then.
Elon Musk is harming not only his own reputation but that of any company he is associated with. In my article “Elon Musk is Bad For Business,” I asked why board members and shareholders at Tesla haven’t already fired Musk and found a new CEO.

I still don’t understand why they’ve kept him in his position as the stock prices, sales, and reputation of Tesla crashes. Then again, I’m not a business expert by any means. I don’t know much about the choices companies make and why. It just seems like common sense that a company would replace a CEO who was actively destroying a once-popular and thriving company.
Especially as he fires tens of thousands of federal workers citing “poor performance” and threatens to fire remote workers if they don’t come into the office. A common response to the news about the email he sent federal workers asking them to list 5 things they did at work that week was: “Elon Musk, email Tesla and tell them what you’ve accomplished at work for the week.” Burn! 🔥
