JD Vance’s role in the Trump campaign is becoming more clear after a Fox News interview with them both together.
The “childless cat lady” guy has a role to play in the Trump campaign and there are a few possibilities of what that role might be.
The Role Of JD Vance in the Trump Campaign

As you’ll also see in the interview on Fox News, the role of Vance in this campaign could also be to “translate” anything Trump says using his simple vocabulary (which is part of what Republican voters see in him that they are attracted to) into a “language” college-educated voters will appreciate.
Also, as Cenk explains, there’s a chance his role could be to combat Trump’s rapidly deteriorating cognitive ability.
So it’s definitely a possibility that his role could be to take over speaking when Trump forgets what to say. He is, after all, the oldest person to run for president of the United States.
